Course Aims

The aim of this course is to give learners the knowledge and skills required to carry out effective risk assessment in the workplace (this course is not to be confused with risk assessment and support planning which is specific to care planning).

This course is aimed at employers, managers and others with responsibility for health and safety. It will also be useful to employees and safety representatives and uses the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) model for assessing risk.

As part of managing the health and safety of a business, risks must be controlled in the workplace.
