Course Aims
The aim of this E-Learning course is to ensure that the learner gains and awareness of equality, diversity and care values, and how anti-discriminatory practice underpins individual care.
Learners are to undertake an online assessment.
Course Content
On successful completion of the course learners will be qualified to:
- Describe the legislation relating to “Eqaulity and Diversity” and how these relate to their care setting.
- Explain how “Equality and Diversity” are integral to individualised care.
- Be aware of prejudices which may affect individualised care.
- Know what steps can be taken to redcue discriminatory practice.
