Course Aims
The aim of this course is to give learners the knowledge and skills required to ensure that employees are aware of their own safety and the safety of customers, contractors and the public.
This course is aimed at employees at all levels and builds an understanding of heath and safety in the workplace and the role that everyone plays in ensuring the workplace is a safe working environment.
Assessment for this CIEH Level 2 Award is a 30 multiple choice question written assessment.
Pass mark is 20 out of 30 correctly answered questions.

Course Content
On successful completion of this course the learner will be qualified to:
- Operate within the legal boundaries with regard to health and safety in the workplace.
- Understand risk assessment.
- Understand and control hazards in the workplace.
- Respond to accidents and incidents in the workplace.
